What is a ROPS and why use it?

ROPS is an acronym for Roll Over Protection Structure and is a tractor necessity. In the event that a tractor does roll, a quality, OSHA-approved ROPS system will prevent full rollover of the tractor, saving the user's life in the process. ROPS systems were not required in Japan, but are required in the US on all new models.

That's why, at Fredricks Equipment, we fit every tractor with a ROPS assembly as standard. Each unit has been designed to work the tractor it is fitted on and is bolted to the frame. These ROPS assemblies are OSHA approved and are the only ones of their kind. Don't settle for substitutes.
